How To Express Yourself

Are you also feeling depressed, lonely and deserted? I know it’s nothing new.

Well nowadays felling depressed is as common as experiencing a head stroke.

Recently after the death of a famous actor in India, who committed suicide because of some reasons people all over social media starting posting stories saying,

“If you are feeling depressed or lonely feel free to talk to me and remember that I am always there for you”

Now first things first, “I would like to ask, why a person feels lonely, depressed and isolated?”

In most of the cases society neglects them and even the person whom they consider as their ‘FRIENDS’ starts joking and ignoring them, their family and relatives thinks that he/she has no capability.

Now, I would like to ask you guys the one who is reading this, question yourself do you think a person who has lost all hopes and expectations from himself would be able to ask for assistance from a third person?

Well the answer is a big and clear, ‘NO’

Now, here the question arises, “What can be done?”

This is very simple- write how you feel, to be clear start writing a diary. I know after listening to the word diary the first person that comes our mind is ‘Anne Frank’ who was a holocaust victim, if you have read “The Diary Of A Young Girl” you might know that she named her diary ‘Kitty’ and she was her imaginary friend. During her hiding she use to express herself by writing a diary. Well that’s a great example because not many people are aware by the magic of writing.

If you are thinking this will not work then let me assure you, writing about how you feel really helps you to feel much more satisfied and helps to clear all the negativity, anger and rage inside you.

And if you have seen “The Vampire Diaries”, “13 Reasons Why” or “Never Have I Ever” carefully you should have noticed that ‘Elena’ and ‘Stefan’ use to write a diary. Even ‘Bryce Walker’ and ‘Devi Vishwakumar’ were suggested to write a diary by their counselor.

I know it’s very difficult to express yourself in front of some counselor or therapist whom you might not even know but writing your feelings in a diary is how you can do it the easy way.
